Aoife Fogarty

Occupational Therapist

Aoife is a CORU registered Occupational Therapist, and member of the Association of Occupational Therapist Ireland (AOTI). She attained her MSc. in Occupational Therapy through the University of Limerick.

Aoife has experience and training working within a neurodiversity affirmative framework with children with a range of developmental differences and disabilities including autism, intellectual disability and Developmental Co-ordination Disorder (DCD). Aoife also has experience working in the areas of general medicine and neuro-rehabilitation. She has experience working in acute hospital settings and in the community.

Prior to joining The Children’s Clinic, Aoife previously worked as part of a neuro-rehabilitation team where she gained valuable experience in the areas of cognitive rehab, sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and community engagement.

Aoife also has a professional background in Science and has worked in a variety of healthcare and environmental charities. Aoife enjoys music and being in the outdoors in her spare time.
