Rachel Doyle

Rachel holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Limerick. She is a CORU registered Senior Occupational Therapist and a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI).

Rachel has years of experience working with adults, adolescents and their families in both community and hospital settings within mental health services in Ireland. She takes a warm, understanding and strengths-focused approach, getting to know each child as an individual and building on what they do well.

Rachel is passionate about working with neurodivergent children, young people and their families, supporting them to meet their goals, develop skills and take part in activities that are meaningful to them. Rachel is experienced working in a neuro-affirmative and sensory informed manner with people with diverse needs in both one-to-one and group settings.

She is passionate about working collaboratively with children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and that Occupational Therapy is supportive, empowering and respectful. Her goal is to help every child live a happy, meaningful and fulfilling life. She strongly values continuing professional development and has recently completed the following courses:

● Empowering Children and Young People with Dyspraxia: Best Practice for Assessment and Effective Interventions.

● Introduction to Sensory Attachment Intervention: The Impact of Developmental Trauma and Insecure Attachment on Sensory Processing.

● Motivational Interviewing Level 1 ● Decider skills

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys doing yoga and has recently completed her yoga teaching course.
