During her professional training, she completed placements with HSE Primary Care, HSE Adult Mental Health, and in specialised services. Alongside working at the Children’s Clinic, Caroline works in Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin, where she provides support for children who are inpatients, day patients, and outpatients.
Caroline is an advocate of the neurodiversity-affirmative movement. She is dedicated to listening to and following the advice of the autistic community. She feels that the assessment journey and the recognition of one’s autism can be massively empowering; which can ultimately help to create a more inclusive and supportive society. She works from a cooperative and flexible approach, that is trauma informed, and she is committed to establishing a safe environment whereby her clients feel at ease, and free from judgement.
