Dr Perri Reed

Counselling Psychologist

Perri completed her Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (D.Couns.Psych.) at Trinity College Dublin. Throughout her career, she has maintained a passion for empowering neurodivergent individuals and supporting young people and families through collaborative, integrative, trauma-informed and neuro-affirmative approaches and practice. 

 Perri received an Honours Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Dublin Business School. She then developed person-centred practices while completing a Master of Science Degree in Behaviour Science from Trinity College Dublin. 

 She has worked in various professional settings with people of all ages and provided support to individuals, families, teachers, caregivers and social services. She has completed professional placements in schools, HSE primary care and HSE specialist services.  

 Perri is neurodivergent, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and an advocate for the neurodiversity movement. She works from an intersectional perspective. She understands the power of lived experience, advocacy, self-exploration and self-determination. 

 Her doctoral dissertation explored the experiences of autistic individuals; she believes that the assessment process can be an important, affirming experience and works to create a calm, approachable and individualised environment for clients.
