Dr Judith Burke
Clinical Psychologist
Dr Judith Burke (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to supporting children, young people, adults, and families using a neuro-affirmative and strengths-based approach. She works collaboratively, aiming to honour each person’s unique abilities, experiences, and needs.
Judith completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Trinity College Dublin. Prior to this, she completed a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Applied Psychology at Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Psychology at the National University of Ireland, Galway. She is a Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (M14998C).
Judith has experience working across a wide range of healthcare settings, including Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs), Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Adult Mental Health, Primary Care Psychology, Perinatal Mental Health Services, and Paediatric Hospital Services.
Judith is trained in several evidence-based therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has particular clinical interests in trauma-informed care, attachment, infant mental health, and the mind-body connection.
Overall, Judith incorporates a person-centred lens within her work, adapting her approach to meet the individual’s pace, preferences, and goals. She is committed to fostering a sense of safety, understanding, and empowerment for young people and families as they navigate their assessment and therapeutic journeys.
