Dr Bronagh Fitzpatrick
Clinical & Health Psychologist
Galway Team
Bronagh is a Clinical and Health Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working across the NHS in Scotland and the HSE in Ireland. She brings a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to her work, with a strong commitment to ensuring that children, young people, and families feel supported and understood throughout the assessment (identification) process.
Her work is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirmative, strengths-based approach, recognising and valuing each person’s unique profile, experiences, and needs. Bronagh views identification as an opportunity for individuals and families to feel seen, understood, and empowered.
Bronagh also has a particular interest in parenting and family support, including nervous system regulation, emotional development, and relational safety. She is passionate about helping families better understand the emotional and sensory needs that can sit underneath behaviour, while supporting connection, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Outside of work, Bronagh is a mum of two and enjoys cake decorating…whenever she gets the chance!
Bronagh holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DPsychSc) from the University of Galway, a Qualification in Health Psychology from the British Psychological Society, an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of St Andrews, and a Higher Diploma in Applied Psychology from University College Cork. She is a Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
