Sinéad Lowry

Senior Speech & Language Therapist

Galway Team

Sinéad is a Senior Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience working with children aged 0–18 with a wide range of communication differences.

She has worked primarily within primary care settings, supporting children with speech sound differences, language differences and early communication needs. Sinéad has experience working with autistic children, children with intellectual disability and complex communication needs, and children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She has extensive experience in supporting both children and adults through the process of identifying autism and ADHD.

Sinéad’s practice is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirmative and strengths-based approach. She works closely with children and their families to identify goals that support communication, participation and growing independence. She is passionate about supporting communication across the settings children are most commonly part of, including home, school and the wider community, and regularly works alongside parents, teachers and other professionals to build shared understanding and put practical, supportive strategies in place.
